Ultracast's latest two head sets comprise of five bare heads. Each set contains five different heads with different haircuts and facial features. Both sets even have one folically challenged subject each!

The packs claim that these heads have "1940's hairstyles" but they are generic to most of the middle decades of the 20th century.

Kevin McLaughlin's sculpting is up to his usual high standards. Casting is perfect too.

The thoughtful method of casting onto a narrow connector is becoming a bit of a trademark for this ever-growing range. The squinting expression on most of the heads is also thoughtful to modellers - it will simplify painting for most of us mortals!

These versatile sets will come in handy for civilian or military subjects from World War One to Korea.

Highly recommended.
