Hasegawa's 1/48 scale Messerschmitt Bf 109G/K models are excellent, but not quite perfect. There are a few questions about missing inches from the nose. The shape of the VDM9 propeller blades on the K-4 and G-10 is also suspect. Ultracast have solved one of these problems with their "Bf 109 Wide Blade Propeller" set. This simple correction set comprises four VDM9-12159A blades as fitted to DB 605/AS and DB 605D 109s. It is therefore suitable for Hasegawa's Bf 109G-10 and K-4 kits. Naturally, you will only be using three blades on your model - one is a spare. Casting is clean and each blade is admirably straight on my sample. Locating pins are in place to ensure that the new blades will be a perfectly aligned replacement for the kit items. This is a simple and effective correction set from Ultracast. Recommended. You may view these and other products including photos at Ultracast's Web Site. Thanks to Kevin at Ultracast for the review samples. Review Copyright © 2000 by Brett
