Ultracast present a new resin helmet set to compliment their range. This set includes five
1/35 scale Polish helmets from 1939.
As to be expected with Ultracast's products, these helmets are beautifully
cast in pale yellow resin. Ultracast has faithfully reproduced the rough surface
texture of the full-sized helmet. My eyesight isn't too bad, but I confess that
I had to resort to a magnifying glass to really appreciate this subtle feature.
Really nice work!
The helmets are identical. They are connected to a resin block via a
thin wafer of material. The helmets may be snapped off and cleaned up with a
sharp knife.
The liner detail is very well done.
It is great to see these less well-covered subjects treated to Ultracast's
high production values. These helmet sets will be very helpful for early-war
dioramas
Recommended.
