The T-72M1 tank was exported to many countries outside of the
Warsaw Pact.
One
of the countries that currently use T-72’s is Finland. One Finnish
modifications to these tanks was the addition of another stowage box
to the left side of the turret. The stowage boxes varied slightly in
the designs, some have ribs added to the flat surfaces and others do
not. The JS-Models storage box has these ribs and it was designed to
fit their resin T-72M1 turret. It does not fit very well on the
Tamiya turret because of the inaccurate shape on the left side of
the kit turret.
There are no casting blocks and the box is a solid piece, so no
preparation is necessary.
I do not recommend using this accessory with the Tamiya turret. As
with other JS-Models releases, the real vehicle was used as the
reference source. The price is 7 Euro, which is close to USD$6.00
dollars. The only place that distributes JS-Models is
