These simple replacement parts will provide all the detail you will ever need for your P-47's undercarriage legs.

Teknics' 1/48 scale P-47 Landing Gear Legs includes the main gear legs, the tailwheel and tailwheel strut. All four parts are cast in brass with short lengths of brass to be removed as preparation before assembly. These skinny plugs re positioned to minimise possible damage to the parts, but care should be taken removing the scrap from the tailwheel.

The detail really is stunning in this media. Brake lines, retaining straps and data tags are all cast in place. The yellow brass looks so attractive that it will be a shame to paint the parts!

I'd recommend the use of two-part epoxy glue to ensure a strong bond between the plastic kit and the malleable brass.

Instructions are good and painting instructions are included.
