These attractive decals will permit the modeller to escape from the usual grey finish of the Hornet. Orion's Kuwaiti decals are designed for the interesting wraparound three-colour Kuwaiti finish of Dark Grey, Light Grey and Brown/Grey. The decals are well printed with thin carrier film and registration is perfect on my sample. The subject is well covered. It looks as if serial numbers are supplied for every F/A-18C and D in the inventory of Nos. 9 and 25 Squadron, Kuwaiti Air Force. One full decal sheet is devoted to these grey serials. Two full sets of stencil markings and several sets of Squadron and national markings are supplied. Documentation is extensive, with separate drawings for the camouflage schemes, stencil markings, detail colour callouts (including painting pointers for the seats) and main decal placement. Information about serial numbers is relatively hard to find in the centre of the foldout sheet. This decal release will be a welcome relief from grey Hornets for modellers looking for a real change!
