Opel Blitz Wheels (Late)

Trakz has released a 1/35 scale set of late wheels for Italeri's Opel Blitz truck.

The parts are a simple replacement for the kit parts and are beautifully cast in cream coloured resin. Detail on the tyres and the wheels' nuts and bolts are excellent. The wheels are not flattened or bulged, as is appropriate for a cross-ply truck tyre.

Some care will be required when removing the wheels from the casting blocks to avoid damaging the tread pattern.

Instructions are not supplied with the set, but every wheel is numbered. Part numbers 1 and 2 are paired up for two sets of rear wheels, the two front wheels are Parts number 4, and Part 2 is the spare tyre.

This will be a useful accessory for anyone building a 1/35 scale Opel Blitz, and will feed the spares box with the extra styrene tyres from the kit!
