Mosquito Canopy, Wheel Hub and D-Day Striping Masks Cutting Edge

A number of these masking sets are applicable to the new 1/48 scale Tamiya Mosquito kits. These comprise:
According to Cutting Edge's instructions these sets are designed for "experts" . In reality, these sets will be appropriate for any moderately experienced modeller who already dabbles with cutting their own masks from tape. A little practice may be required to correctly position the masks, and to avoid stretching the vinyl during application. Try practicing with scrap material before committing the first mask to your model! The canopy and D-Day stripes certainly appeal to me. These masking jobs can be time consuming and tedious. Black Magic masks will certainly remove some of the pain. The Mosquito canopy sets are cleverly designed to fit around curved and other difficult surfaces. They even include masks for the internal canopy frame. The wheel hub masks may seem to be a bit of a luxury, but they are inexpensive and certainly easier than measuring and cutting your own circles. With careful handling, the wheel masks and D-Day stripes should be re-usable. Due to the high risk of paint bleeding, it will be safest to assume that the canopy masks can only be used once. These sets will be a handy accessory for the large number of modellers who hate masking! Recommended.
