Model Point have extended their accessory range to include 1/35 scale tank gun barrels.

Larger barrels are milled from aluminium, while smaller items are spun from solid brass. Detail is impressive. On the larger items, oft-neglected such as notches for locking rings have been included. There is no cleanup of the parts required and the length of the barrels look good.

 

 

The Soviet 125mm gun is a two-piece affair due to the complex series of baffles along the barrel length. 

 

 

The BMP barrel includes an integrated muzzle brake with the baffles drilled out. Very impressive. 

 

 

The King Tiger barrel will require the plastic muzzle brake from the kit to be added to the end.

 

 

Model Point's replacement gun barrels will be an effective and attractive accessory for armour modellers.
