Once again, Maurizio di Terlizzi presents a volume on a specific aircraft
that is ideal for the modeller. The subject of Aviolibri Special
No. 4 is the Aermacchi MB 339.
This soft cover book is presented in 28cm x 20cm portrait format. 64 pages
are enclosed, with 24 of these pages (plus the covers) in full glossy colour.
The author takes full advantage of the colour pages by presenting many photos of
aircraft details and colour schemes
Eight side profiles plus three top-view and one bottom-view
illustrations add to the colourful package. This reference material is
rounded out with scale drawings by Richard Caruana of the MB 339A and
339CD variants.
Sixteen pages are devoted to analysis and construction of MB 339
models. Both the 1/48 scale FREMS kit and the 1/72 scale Supermodel
offering are covered in detail.
Text and captions are presented in both Italian and English.
Aviolibri's "Aermacchi MB 339" will be a valuable
resource to modellers building either the FREMS or the Supermodel
offerings.
Recommended.
