The limitations of injection moulding technology mean that scale machine gun
barrels are often oversimplified, oval in profile, have excessive seam lines or
display a combination of some or all of these faults.
Karaya of Poland has created a clever solution for this problem
in the case of .50 cal machine gun barrels.
Each inexpensive set includes four hollow, perforated metal
machine gun jackets and a length of metal rod representing the barrel itself.
The perforations are crisp and evenly spaced - really amazing stuff! Check the
photo below of Bernhard Schrock's Avenger to see how good they look in place:
Installation of the barrels could not be easier. Simply remove
the plastic kit .50 cal barrels and replace them with the Karaya items, securing
the parts with super glue.
These .50 cal machine gun barrels will be an ideal finishing
touch for an large selection of Allied aircraft.
Highly Recommended.
