Teknics' "Lost Wax" cast brass undercarriage legs are beautiful to behold. The photographs simply do not do them justice.

This set for Hasegawa's 1/48 scale "Jack" is relatively simple but is an undoubted improvement over the kit parts. The hydraulic lines draped along the main gear legs look great. The inclusion of the tailwheel assembly (a single part with the tiny wheel cast integrally as part of the gear leg and fairing) is a nice little bonus.

My only criticism is that US$12.99 might be considered expensive for a relatively simple set of gear legs. Then again, maybe it is just my ongoing suffering under the Australian dollar that is colouring my opinion!

These replacement gear legs will be a great addition to your Hasegawa "Jack". 

Now when is Teknics going to produce a correctly dimensioned set of gear legs to replace the short items on the Tamiya 1/48 scale Fw 190 kits?
