Are you bored by the prospect of a 1/24 scale 190A-5 ? It always puzzled me why Airfix did not opt for the heavier gunned and much more business like A-7 or 8.

You can now convert the old Airfix 1/24 scale Fw 190A-5 to an A-8 or even an A8/R2 with the third review of Jerry Rutman's 24th scale series of conversion and detail sets. This is a straightforward conversion. Without any real fuss you can beef up the A-5 to a much more desirable machine.

The Fw 190A8/R2 set includes all of the contents of the basic conversion plus outer MK108 wing cannon and covers.

This set supplies the essential items to build what could be a truly great model.

Recommended.
