I don't know about you, but DF loops on German fighters always drive me nuts. Along with Morane antennae and pitot tubes, the DF loops often find themselves on the carpet even before paint has been applied to the model. Also, some DF loops are not as petite as they should be due to the limitations of plastic injection moulding processes. Cutting Edge's new brass DF loops are the Rolls-Royce solution to this problem. Each loop is supplied in one piece, mounted on its teardrop-shaped base and with a long mounting lug beneath. This will ensure a solid bond with the kit surface. Two loops are provided in each set. The brass is beautiful, with no pitting or other imperfection in evidence. The material may be positioned (to depict a rounder or longer loop shape) but is rigid enough to stay put when the desired shape is achieved. This is an interesting, if slightly expensive, way to obtain great looking DF loops for your Luftwaffe fighters. Recommended.
