Here are some preview photographs of the new 1/48 scale Cutting Edge wingfolds for Hasegawa's F6F Hellcat kits.

The parts are cast in CE's hard, dark grey resin. Research was undertaken on the F6F at the USMC Air-Ground Museum in Quantico, Virginia.
