Yellowhammer decals YHD48002 is an updated release from a 1994 decal sheet that has been out of circulation for many years.

"F-14D Tomcats of the Pacific Fleet" contains two subject aircraft:

• F-14D BuNo 163901, Block 165, or VF-31 on the USS Carl Vinson in February 1994. This aircraft features a bomb-laden "Felix the Cat" on the tail

• F-14D, BuNo 164602, Block 170, of VF-2 on the USS Constellation in late 1993 with a starry-eyed skull on the tail.

Both aircraft are finished in the standard low-viz three greys. Stencil decals are included for both aircraft, and the VF-31 markings include small "Felixs" for the drop tanks.

Registration is perfect and colour saturation looks good. The colour instructions are a welcome addition to a decal set that was already very good!
