EagleCals
Decals
Reviewed by Brett Green
Dutch subjects seem to be gaining in popularity recently. EagleCals new release taps into this trend, but will be of the greatest interest to modellers planning to buy Accurate Miniatures' 1/48 scale B-25C/D Mitchell. EagleCals' usual high standards of instructions, printing and research are maintained with this decal set. Two pages of contemporary wartime photos of all of the subject planes are included. I like this "one-stop reference and decal source" approach by EagleCals. The four Mitchells covered by the decals all feature RAF markings, Olive Drab and Neutral Gray camouflage, dull red codes and nose art. Two of the aircraft sport Invasion Stripes. The colours are all convincing, including the sometimes elusive dull red. National markings are supplied for at least one aircraft, although clever combinations may permit two. Recommended. EagleCals decals are available from Eagle Editions Website or Hobby Retailers. Thanks to Judy at Eagle Editions for the sample. Review Copyright © 2000 by Brett
