Belcher Bits has released decal sheets to cover all CF-104
Starfighters in Canadian service at any time during its operational
career between 1962 and 1985. The same subjects are covered in both the 1/72 and 1/48 scale sheets.
One
full decal sheet is supplemented with another sheet one-third of its
size. A tiny sheet with extra unit markings is also included in the 1/48
scale offering. The
decals are well printed with very thin carrier film. Registration is
perfect, and the colours look good.
Four double-sided sheets are required for the instructions and
marking placements. Eight subjects are featured, but any Canadian
Starfighter from any era may be modelled using the generic serials and
the abundant unit markings. Many modellers will be attracted to the
unmistakable Tiger Meet schemes described on the instruction sheet.
The schemes include green, natural metal and low-viz green and grey. The variation of
national and unit markings adds interest too.
This decal set will be a nice way to customise your Revell or
Hasegawa Starfighters.
Recommended.
