This simple conversion adds a detailed nose gun bay to ProModeler's 1/48
scale Messerschmitt Bf 110G-4.
Cutting Edge's set represents the "R3" nose with two 30mm MK108
cannon. All parts are well cast, and the detail on the guns, the interior of the
top cover and the gun mounts is impressive.
Care will be required when removing the parts from their casting blocks. As
the Cutting Edge instructions suggest, "measure twice and cut once!"
No cutting of kit parts are required though. This will be a simple
replacement of the plastic nose. Recessed marks on the resin lower nose part
will help locate the kit radar.
