Teknics supply a damaged rudder, one port elevator and one port aileron for a 1/48 scale B-17. I assume that these parts will fit the Monogram kit, although there is a Revell offering available too.

The aileron and elevator simply replace the kit parts but the kit rudder will have to be removed.

The parts are well cast considering the challenging subject matter. All three parts feature visible structural detail below the "fabric" surface.

Instructions are small but very clear. Painting  and weathering suggestions are also included.

This is an interesting set that will certainly make your B-17 stand out in a crowd!
