It is always nice to find a subject that is not very common, and this figure does not disappoint in this respect!

The contents of the set are very basic - a complete resin figure cast as a single part and one rifle in white metal. Despite the simple parts breakdown, both parts are bristling with detail.

Cleanup was very easy. Casting blocks were removed from the feet, and a few seam lines on the legs and the top of the shoulders were sanded off.

The figure's pose is interesting, having one arm completely covered by the shelter and the other holding the rifle in a relaxed fashion. The angle and expression of the face is more alert.

Painting with Vallejo Colour required plenty of earthy tones. The end result is well worth the effort.

I have always enjoyed the Hornet and Wolf range and this figure was no exception.

Recommended.
