This simple accessory from new Chinese company, LionRoar,
will be a nice addition to any Tamiya 1/35 scale Tamiya King Tiger that
requires a stepped barrel.
LionRoar has used three different media for their King
Tiger barrel set, and provided the modeller with a choice for the
presentation of their model.
The metal muzzle brake is almost ready to use - a quick
once-over with a hobby knife and sanding stick will easily remove the
casting marks. Detail is crisp. A collar ring is sharply engraved at the
rear of the brake, but you'll have to add your own lock bolt at the top of
the part.
The resin covered muzzle has a small casting block that
will need to be cut off and cleaned up. The texture and drape of the cloth
cover is very good.

The cast metal muzzle brake can be attached to the barrel,
or it can be substituted with the resin covered brake also supplied in the
set.
The metal muzzle brake fits tightly into the hole in the
end of the barrel. Even the resin part is a snug push fit, suggesting the
possibility that the covered and uncovered muzzle might be exchanged for
display after painting if desired.

This is a high quality and versatile accessory. I look
forward to seeing what LionRoar has planned for future releases!
